Hi, I'm Shannon
I’m an honors student at Drexel University, studying User Experience & Interaction Design with a minor in Data Science, and I love building technology that solves problems, looks good, and feels even better.
Previously
At Intealth, I worked as a Full Stack Developer and UX Designer on MyIntealth, a MERN-stack application that helps foreign medical graduates navigate the credentialing process required to practice in the U.S.
On the development side, I built both front- and back-end features across multiple portals and worked closely with QA analysts to test and refine the product. With my design background, I also had the opportunity to help introduce and establish design practices on the team. I led a full revamp of the team’s Figma library and held knowledge-sharing sessions on design principles and Figma best practices to encourage developers to think more critically about user needs.
I also co-developed ShareThrift, an internal side project exploring workflow automation and AI integration. Working on ShareThrift gave me experience across the full product lifecycle, from initial concept and business/technical requirements gathering through design, development, testing, and iteration. My primary focus was how we can use AI tools like GitHub Copilot and Figma MCP to streamline the design-to-development workflow. More notably, while working on this project, I experienced firsthand where AI excels, where it falls short, and how developers and designers can fill those gaps.
